West Digests are basically a collection of headnotes arranged in topical order.  Digests act as an index to case books.   Almost every series of case books has a corresponding digest.  For instance, the Pacific Reporter has the Pacific Digest.  The Hawaii Reports have the Hawaii Digest.  Features:

• digests do not publish cases, but collect headnotes topically
• arranged alphabetically by topic (subject matter)
• published by West Publishing Company
• part of the Key Number research system
• because digests do not publish or discuss cases or law, and only contains headnotes, digests are considered non-authority
