§10.4

Introduction
Citations of Federal court decisions will come more easily if you have a good understanding of state citations. So before you move on to Federal citations, make sure you have at least a decent grasp of state cites.

Below is a collection of federal case law reporters, one volume each from the major reporters.

The 3 books on the right are the U.S. Supreme Court publications

Other Federal Case Law Publications
There are a few other publications that publish federal court opinions. Most of them are subject matter oriented, such as the Bankruptcy Reporter, the Federal Appendix, and the Military Justice Reporter to name a few.

The Federal Appendix is one example of other publications that contain Federal court opinions.
